Night had begun to fall, and as the miles that separated me from home increased, I began to relax.  It seemed as though my car knew where to think me, because the drive was effortless. I ended up on the narrow road beside to the river.  It was one of the roads I had driven daily as a teen.  I hadnt been on this road for years.  My life now, as an adu lt, was too busy to take time out for gladness rides.  I had deadlines to meet, PTA encounters to attend, bills to pay and a husband to pacify. I smiled as I drove ancient the places that Id spent so umpteen evenings, parked with friends along this road.

  I had lost touch with somewhat precious memories, but they seemed to be flooding back, filling my heart.  I pulled over underneath a familiar gnarled soupcon and got out.  The wind had started blowing and I could taste the impending rain.  Pushing my pig out of my eyeball, I ran to the tree and searched the trunk.  It didnt take long for me to acknowledge w hat I was looking for.  Julie and Danny, t! rue(p) Love Always.
